  • Server Logs: The following data is automatically stored temporarily for each access:
    • IP address (anonymized after 7 days)
    • Date and time of request

    • Operating system
    • Referrer URL

Purpose:Security and troubleshooting. Data is not combined with other sources or shared with third parties.

3.2. Code Hosting (code.metalisp.dev)

  • Hosting Provider: Hetzner Cloud (Hetzner Online GmbH)
  • Service: Forgejo instance (self-hosted Git forge)
  • Data Collected:
    • User accounts (username, email, GPG keys) only if voluntarily registered
    • Repository content (code, commits, issues)

Purpose: Provision of the code hosting service. Data is not shared with third parties.

3.3. Wiki (wiki.metalisp.dev)

  • Hosting Provider: Peakford Ltd. (PikaPod), registered in England and Wales (Company No. 13375890)
  • Server Location: EU (Frankfurt, Germany)
  • Service: Wiki.js
  • Data Collected:
    • User accounts (username, email) only if voluntarily registered
    • Wiki content (pages, edit history)

Purpose: Provision of the wiki. Data is not shared with third parties.

3.4. Community Forum (community.metalisp.dev)

  • Hosting Provider: Peakford Ltd. (PikaPod)
  • Server Location: EU (Frankfurt, Germany)
  • Service: Flarum forum
  • Data Collected:
    • User accounts (username, email) only if voluntarily registered
    • Forum posts (topics, replies)

Purpose: Provision of the forum. Data is not shared with third parties.

4. Web Analytics with Umami

This website uses Umami, a privacy-friendly, self-hosted web analytics solution.

  • Provider: Peakford Ltd. (PikaPod), registered in England and Wales (Company No. 13375890) — Server location: EU (Frankfurt, Germany)
  • Service: Umami instance at analytics.metalisp.dev (self-hosted)
  • Technology: Umami does not use cookies and does not store any personal data.
  • Data Collected: Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics such as visited pages, referrer, browser type, screen resolution, and language preference. IP addresses are not stored.
  • Purpose: Improvement of the website and understanding of general usage patterns. Data is not shared with third parties.
  • Legal Basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in optimizing the website).

Since no personal data is collected, no consent is required under the German Telecommunications and Telemedia Data Protection Act (TTDSG) for the use of Umami.

5. Data Security

  • All services use encryption (HTTPS).
  • Access credentials are stored encrypted.
  • Backups are created regularly and protected from unauthorized access.
